Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 8, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how 17953691 Canada Inc., operating as Leasimo (“Leasimo”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit leasimo.io (the “Site”) or contact us through it. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable Ontario law.
Information we collect
We only collect personal information that you choose to provide and a limited amount of technical information needed to operate the Site securely. When you submit our contact form, we may collect:
- Information you provide: your first name and (if you choose) last name, email address, phone number, the role you select (landlord, broker, or tenant), the number of units (for landlords), and anything you write in the comment field.
- Technical information: your IP address, browser user agent, the page address you submitted from (which may include referral or campaign parameters), and an approximate location (city, province/region, and country) derived from your IP address.
We do not knowingly collect information from children, and we do not request sensitive personal information through the Site.
Why we collect it
We use this information to:
- respond to your inquiry and arrange a product demo;
- communicate with you about Leasimo and the services you asked about;
- protect the Site against spam and automated abuse (for example, verifying that form submissions come from a person); and
- understand, maintain, and improve the Site.
Consent
By submitting information through the Site, you consent to our collection, use, and disclosure of that information as described in this Policy. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us (subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice); withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer respond to your inquiry.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate the Site, and only as needed for them to perform their services on our behalf:
- Vercel — website hosting and delivery;
- Supabase — the database where form submissions are stored (hosted in Canada);
- Cloudflare — bot/spam protection (Turnstile) on our form.
- PostHog — website analytics (hosted in the United States), which uses cookies and similar technologies to measure how the Site is used.
- Reddit — advertising measurement; where you reach the Site from a Reddit ad, we use Reddit’s pixel and conversions API to measure the effectiveness of that advertising.
Some of these providers may process or store information outside of Canada (including in the United States), where it may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions. We may also disclose information if required to do so by law or to protect our legal rights.
How we protect it
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access, including encryption of data in transit and restricting access to authorized personnel. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
How long we keep it
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above or as required by law, after which we take steps to delete or anonymize it.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, or ask us to delete it. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will respond within the time required by law.
Contact us
If you have questions, requests, or a privacy concern, contact our privacy contact at privacy@leasimo.io. If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
